Chased on the Inca Trail from Machu Picchu to Km 88, the insufficiently prepared Dusty and Jacie suffer the capricious weather conditions for days and nights trekking above the clouds while being pursued by two thugs from the Cartagena cartel.

After being abducted on their return to Cusco, they are flown to Colombia to be questioned by the Cartagena cartel's leading members, where their future fate is planned by the sadistic Jaime Nava. Watching Jacie rapidly deteriorating in Nava's hands, Dusty desperately searches for a way out of their captivity.
